Boobs Are Great!

So many of our friends are missing out on the great experience of good breastfeeding because they're not being given good information, or the right kind of support when they need it, when the going gets tough. In fact, many of them are being pushed to get their babies onto formula, and often it's the very health professionals who are supposed to uphold breastfeeding who are doing it!

We decided to get active, rather than exasperated, and do something constructive about it!

We come into regular contact with a lot of beautiful pregnant women. We're hoping during the year to develop a care pack we can freely give each of our clients, containing a 'Boobs Are Great' booklet which outlines WHY you'd want to do everything in your power to make breastfeeding work, and HOW to tackle the challenges that try to knock you down, as well as a plan allowing for supplemental formula feeding if necessary, without compromising breast milk supply. Along with that will be a tube of nipple balm, a set of ingredients and a recipe for whipping up a yummy Tigers Milk cocktail, which is an excellent pick-me-up tonic for a breastfeeding mum.
