Henna Belly Art

Henna has been used for body adornment in India and the Middle East for centuries. Having an application of henna artwork done is a lovely soothing experience when you're pregnant. We only use safe natural 'brown' henna paste without the nasty chemicals found in 'black' henna. 

The henna paste stays on your skin for 6 -12 hours - we cover it in surgical tape so you can still have clothes over it and move around. Then you take the wrappings off and you're left with a brown 'tattoo' stained into your skin. It lasts until that layer of skin wears off - anywhere from 1 - 4 weeks.
