We're committed to only using safe natural brown henna paste for our own artwork, but we're disturbed to see how much of the unsafe henna has made it to the hallowed halls of Trademe and little emporium shops in New Zealand.

If the henna you're buying is BLACK or any COLOUR other than brown, it contains PPD which is a dangerous chemical that can blister and scar skin very quickly.
